About Swallow Barn

SWALLOW BARN is granite built and has been tastefully converted from an agricultural building into a home with a high standard of comfortable furnishings using a combination of traditional and modern styles.

The sitting room has two settees and shares the double fronted wood burning stove with the dining area. It has a flat screen TV and DVD player. The room has a 5 metre wide sliding and folding glazed panel with magnificent views towards the moors especially Widgery Cross and Great Links Tor.

 

The barn sleeps six people in three bedrooms.

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are two modern bathrooms with underfloor heating and heated towel rails. One bathroom is en suite bathroom to master bedroom. Second bathroom is family bathroom for second and third bedroom.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

​The kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic hob, double oven, cooker hood, dishwasher, larder fridge, freezer, toaster, electric kettle, microwave and bean-to-cup coffee machine.

 

The spacious open plan kitchen and dining area is tastefully furnished with a dining table seating up to 8 people, a comfortable sofa and a wood burning stove. All the oak beams and granite are original and there is a small library which includes many books on Dartmoor and Devon.

 

Our aim is to provide you with one of the best self catering holidays on Dartmoor.

Underfloor heating is provided in the non summer months and wood is available for the log burning stove all year around. 

All bedding and towels are provided.

Parking

There is ample parking for at least 3 cars.

Normally Friday.
