Location

Is located on the outskirts of the village of Lydford midway between Okehampton 12 kms to the north and Tavistock 9 kms to the south.

Driving from Exeter takes about 45 minutes. Public transport is limited. There are trains to Okehampton from Exeter from June to September. A bus runs between Okehampton and Tavistock, stopping at Lydford in each direction. It runs approximately every hour of day-time throughout the year, including Sundays; the journey from Okehampton to Lydford takes about 20 minutes, and from Tavistock to Lydford about 30 minutes.
