SWALLOW BARN is granite built and has been tastefully converted from an agricultural building into a home with a high standard of comfortable furnishings using a combination of traditional and modern styles. It has been decorated and furnished to create a truly unique atmosphere that is all yours to enjoy and a setting that is perfect for those seeking peace and tranquility. It comprises:

• Three bedrooms, one double, one twin and a single.
• One ensuite shower room and one bathroom with shower.
• Large sitting area with wood burning stove.
• Large dining area with table to seat 6 comfortably.
• Fully equipped modern kitchen including dishwasher and microwave.
• Underfloor heating throughout both floors.
• Utility room with washing machine and WC.
• Flat screen HD TV with DVD player.
• Wireless broadband internet connection.
• A selection of books, games and DVDs.
• Outdoor sitting area with table and chairs.

        

The barn sleeps five people in three bedrooms.

 

    

There are two modern bathrooms, one with shower, wc, wash basin, bidet and bath and the other with shower, wc and wash basin. Both bathrooms have underfloor heating and heated towel rails.

 

The kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic hob and double oven, cooker hood, dishwasher, larder fridge, freezer, toaster, electric kettle and microwave.

 

   

The spacious open plan kitchen and dining area is tastefully furnished with a dining table seating up to 8 people, a comfortable sofa and a wood burning stove. All the oak beams and granite are original and there is a small library which includes many books on Dartmoor and Devon.

 

The washing machine and downstairs WC are in the utility room.

 

The sitting room has two settees and shares the double fronted wood burning stove with the dining area. It has a flat screen TV and DVD player. BT Vision with the film and music options is free. The room has a 5 metre wide sliding and folding glazed panel with magnificent views towards the moors especially Widgery Cross and Great Links Tor.

 

   

Our aim is to provide you with the best self catering holiday rental accommodation on Dartmoor.

 

Provided

Underfloor heating is provided late September/October to May and wood is available for the log burning stove all year around.

All bedding and towels are provided.

There is ample parking for at least 3 cars.
